It has come to light that Russia removed the restriction on tea after Sri Lanka removed the restriction on asbestos. The post drew much attention as people compared the difference between the two governments, one that tries to look out for the safety of its people and one that has absolutely no regard for the country or the people.
- Name change of Ederamulla to Akbar Town
Over the past couple of weeks, there was quite a stir among the public owing to the fact that the Enderamulla area would be renamed as Akbar Town, however as this tweet on Lankadeepa News twitter account suggests, there are discussions in place to rename it to Enderamulla 2.

- Instagram live videos can now be sent through direct messages so users can ‘co-watch’ clips with friends
Users now have the chance to share videos of themselves in private with friends or a group on instagram as a message or simply share a video that they are watching with a friend or groups. The new feature was rolled out last week by Instagram.
