  • Rajitha Hiran’s comment on Iraj’s music video

Actor Rajitha Hiran spoke about the music video done by Iraj and criticized his actions. The video he posted went viral on Facebook. The fact that Iraj’s video was allegedly based upon senior artist Victor Rathnayake’s personal life had been scrutinized heavily since its release on social media in Sri Lanka and this is the most recent development in this.

  • GangaSudarsani or Maniyo and Chandimal

The incident of cricketer Chandimal receiving his blessings from Maniyo is another incident and good example of how personal matters and personal choices are getting criticized on social media in Sri Lanka. The post that was shared on Facebook went viral with many making fun of the cricketer’s beliefs while others stated that his personal life should remain private.

  • Rally against the selling of  Hambanthota port and airport

The police were brought in to control the crowds that rallied around to protest against the selling of the Hambantota Port and the Maththala Airport. The video was one more social media post that was viral last week.

  • Ghost caught on camera in Irish school release

Independent.ie posted a video of what appeared to be a ghost that was caught on camera during the footage that was recorded. The post gathered many humorous comments and also was viral last week.

  • Las Vegas attack

The Las Vegas attack has been viral since it took place. This latest video that went viral is one where a witness recounts the incidents of that fateful incident that left many dead, injured and traumatized.

Stats of the Week

Bro is a Facebook page that is vastly popular today. They share incidents that are viral along with hot topics and the likes. However, they do not maintain a good relationship with their YouTube channel. If they were to upload their footage on a well maintained YouTube page, it is possible that they could gain access to a much wider audience.
